Expect a strong detatchment of Jedi from Kamino Base to participate in the 37th Annual Seymour Holiday parade! Matt Fagan has been wanting the Rebels to make an effort to show at this one for a while and this year, we come through for him in Kamino’s first parade!
Here’s the link to the Community Happenings in Seymour. Check out their PDF file explaining the parade:

May the Force be with you as you Crave the Wave!

Many of the members of your beloved Kamino Base will be away for another amazing weekend of guests and glory at this years SuperMegaFest: www.supermegafest.com !
Quite the guest list with something for everyone! WHAT? Something besides STAR WARS?! Yes!! We like to think of ourselves as well rounded geeks who appreciate everything from some classic Beatles tunes to watching Airplane! Wrestling is well represented with some classic wrestlers and some of the current ladies of the WWE! The Batmobile will have to compete with our neighboring Alderaan Base’s own Landspeeder!
Come on up and ask around! We’ll be somewhere in the middle of the action, as well as lurking in the shadows!

What a tremendous turn out! Kamino Pilot Erik Larkin and Jedi Matt Fagan assisted Lord Vader (TheSkull) and a TK, Kamino member Sidesho from the Connecticut Garrison, in wowing the crowd of 600 people with autographs and pictures. Posing with children of all ages from a few months, to some parents into their 40’s! It was a celebrated event! Everyone was ready to bounce at 10 minutes to 12, so an initial marching pass was made for the fans standing in line since 9am when the mall opened!
The PB employees were great at making improvements on the fly as they had to handle the masses, but really had a fun time working with us and were very gracious.
A good day trooping!
Thanks also to JoAnn Offee for taking 134 pics that I’ll try to get uploaded later!

Here’s to an absolutely beautiful day of interacting and walking in support of Autism Speaks! This was the first year where the walk was held at Colt State Park in Bristol Rhode Island. I’m proud of our first time supporting this event as a base, and I look forward to supporting it again next year, as should YOU! Thanks to Sean from the 501st NEG Garrison www.501neg.com continually opening the doors to this event where the struggle between the Rebellion and the Empire can be set aside, somewhat, in order to help bring the full attention to this affliction in order to help fund the efforts to find a cure!
Thanks go out to ALL of our members and Rebel Friends, Justin and Meredith from www.AlderaanBase.com who have been the Rebel hosts for this event the previous 3 years. It’s always a pleasure to get the support of the surrounding bases for important events such as these! Thanks so much, Friends!
Clone Commandos from Delta Squad, a lone Jedi, a Rebel Fleet Trooper, and an X-Wing Pilot joined the Imperial Forces of Stormtroopers and an Imperial Gunner, who brought some wonderful rations for all
. Thanks also to the wranglers, Ang and Jeff, for keeping us on course!
Next Stop for Kamino Base?
Pottery Barn Kids in the Westfarms Mall, Farmington CT. Saturday the 27th at 10AM!
